Meet Fire de Phoenix: a four-piece rock unit from the mid-west with much to say. With all four members native to Missouri, FdP hails from Warrensburg, Missouri, home to Central Missouri State University. The quartet might possibly be the most educated band around, with three college degrees among them and two to come in a matter of months. However, their instruments are what intrigues the four members, and what makes the men themselves intriguing to others.

FdP is a relatively young band, and in more ways than one. Not only are the members of FdP all in their lower 20s, but have been a band for a surprisingly short amount of time. While Ethan (guitar) and Keith (drums) have been playing with one another in previous bands for the past several years, FdP didn't begin taking shape until a meeting between Keith and Pat (vocals) in early 2003. The recruitment of Travis (bass) several months later solidified the powerhouse as it is today. Their relative new-coming to the scene is anything but apparent, however. FdP possesses an astonishing level of maturity as a young band, with a full, tight-nit sound that is sure to impress any listener. The band's intense and unrelenting live show is continually filling venues and developing a vast and devout fan base.

With the four members each bringing their own style into the mix, FdP creates an audio assault that is as distinguishable as it is impressive. With influences ranging from rock veterans such as Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd to current bands such as Tool and Incubus, FdP creates a sound that brings together dark, powerful chords along with strong melodies and harmonies, accompanied by stirring baselines and articulate, yet aggressive drumming. The product of four ambitious musicians with strong determination and passion for music, Fire de Phoenix is on the map and spreading its sonic aggression from one pair of ears to the next.
